Summer Updates & Scheduling Scoop

kids25

Hey friends!
Hope your summer’s been full of fun! Ours has included lots of time with family and—no surprise—live music.

Just popping in with a few updates on scheduling, the waitlist, and other happenings. The online calendar is busy busy—appointments are booking nearly 3 months out. The wait list now has lots of people on it and cancellations have been very, very few. Unfortunately, this means that it has been challenging to move many of you off the waitlist and I am so very sorry that has been the case. I wish I had more ways to help you to be seen sooner and thanks for your patience waiting to be seen, but here are some scheduling tips to hopefully help make your scheduling go as smoothly as possible.

Quick scheduling tips:

  • The online calendar shows 90 days out from whatever day you check (i.e., log in July 14th, able to book through Oct 12th). The Calendly system opens the schedule farther out each day automatically.

  • Online scheduling is available for 25–29 appointments each week plus one “No Wait” Wednesday 12:30pm session—these are pricier but skip the line if you need an appointment sooner than the regular calendar can provide.

  • Need a “No Wait” and it’s booked? Text or email—I might be able to add in an additional appointment outside of normal clinic hours.

  • The 5pm Wednesday slot has been phased out, and Monday’s last appointment now starts at 4:45pm.

  • Want to be on the waitlist? First, book an appointment that is available online, even if it’s far away. After you have booked, send me an email to let me know you’d like to be added to the waitlist.

Need to cancel? Easy peasy—just text or email me at least 24 hours ahead (or as soon as able for illness or inclement weather). This helps someone on the waitlist do a little happy dance!

New client tip: Have your friends or family book 2 sessions upfront. If not and they want additional appointments after their first session, they might be waiting a while again due to the full schedule.

Why the long wait times? The need for Fascial Counterstrain is growing steadily—the secret is out that it’s super effective, but there aren’t enough of us advanced practitioners across the country yet to keep up with the demand. Good news is that this effective treatment is right here in our little gem of Washburn, but being the only one is now causing the long wait times to be seen. I’m still doing my part by leveling up: retaking fascial counterstrain courses to further sharpen my skills and taking additional osteopathic manual practitioner courses later this year. More anatomy, hands-on techniques, and palpation skills = better care for you!

Lastly, I have decided to step away from being a Juice Plus+ team member. I still love JP products, but I was finding that I wasn’t able to keep up with all that was needed on the JP business end of things while also managing Superior Wellness and Scarlet Fire Glassworks. You can still order JP directly from juiceplus.com or contact their customer care department for any other assistance you may need.

I think that’s about it for updates! Thanks for being such an awesome part of the clinic. I truly appreciate you all and I always look forward to seeing you during our sessions. Have a great rest of the summer—see you soon!

Peace, love, & vegetables.
